Program Details

  • Places are available for eight students annually
  • Program Dates: Monday, May 22 – Friday, July 21, 2017 (9 weeks)
  • Students will be paid a stipend of $4,500, plus a food stipend of $500 for a total of $5000
  • Housing will be provided in University of Georgia dormitories at no additional cost
  • Travel assistance to UGA is available up to $500 per student
  • Application deadline: February 20, 2017 (The deadline was previously 2/10/17, we moved it to 2/20/17!)
  • Accepted students will be notified in mid-March 2017
  • Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. or its territories and have not yet obtained an undergraduate degree.
  • Applications from students from minority serving institutions and/or majoring in biology, education, psychology, anthropology, sociology, and statistics are especially encouraged.
